Job Description : HR Functional Consultant – Dynamics 365 F&O (UK Implementation)
We are seeking a seasoned and self-driven HR Functional Consultant to lead the implementation of the Human Resources module in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) for our UK-based manufacturing customer. This is a standalone module deployment and will require the consultant to manage the end-to-end implementation, working closely with the UK HR team. The ideal candidate will possess deep HR process knowledge, strong D365 F&O implementation experience, and excellent communication skills to engage effectively with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the HR module in Dynamics 365 F&O. • Engage directly with the UK HR business team to gather requirements and map them to D365 capabilities. • Perform fit-gap analysis and design scalable, compliant HR solutions. • Configure HR modules in D365 including positions, jobs, worker setup, benefits, compensation, leave & absence, and onboarding. • Own documentation – prepare functional design documents, configuration guides, training material, and testing scenarios. • Collaborate with technical teams for any customizations or integrations. • Support testing cycles including UAT and provide training to HR business users. • Ensure successful go-live planning, cutover execution, and post-go-live support. • Serve as the point of contact for all HR-related activities during the implementation.
Required Qualifications & Experience • 6+ years of experience in implementing ERP HR modules, with at least 3 years in Dynamics 365 F&O. • In-depth understanding of HR processes such as employee lifecycle management, benefits, compliance, and workforce structure. • Proven track record of delivering standalone HR module implementations. • Strong documentation, presentation, and training capabilities. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; prior experience working with UK / EMEA clients preferred. • Experience collaborating with technical consultants for reporting, workflows, and integration.
